The online challenge took place April 3-24 and followed actions highlighted in Drawdown, a New York Times bestseller based on diligent research that. Working together, the private sector, public sector, and citizens must play as a team and take bold action. In the 2020 EcoChallenge competition, 127 WSP team members from 39 offices joined together to participate. It is an initiative that encourages individual and collective actions focused on carbon reduction. Climate change is caused by humans, and without immediate intervention, it will continue to disrupt the environment, society, and the economy in very painful ways. WSP USA is participating in the Earth Month EcoChallenge: Drawdown for the third year in a row.
